Why this?

This blog is a dedication to my husband, Sumanth Cidambi and his madness that will make him the first Indian guy to be crossing the Atacama Desert.
The guy who has run around 3000 odd kilometers in the last 15 months , training for this mammoth ultramarathon.
250 km in the harshest possible conditions over 7 days and totally self-supported.
Which means, he carries his food, supplements and all other supplies in a backpack that weighs 10.5kg.
All updates, pictures and video links will be on this space, collected to be proudly shared with anyone who cares to be a part of our pride & joy and also to be preserved for posterity.

Sumanth is raising money for Nethaji Mercy Home, an orphanage in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Details about the charity here.
